About Me

I am a native of Maryland's Eastern Shore although sometimes I think I may have arrived here accidentally when my the navigation system on spacecraft malfunctioned. I can wear white rubber boots and talk like a waterman, but the locals still give me blank stares as if I may be sprouting antennae from my green forehead. Even so, the slow-moving rural swamp life has sucked me in and I continue to live and work here. I have been self-employed for many years until recently taking a job in IT at a large health care facility.

This side of the Bay hasn't caught up with the either the past or present millennium so life here isn't always exciting, but it is unique. I created my Rearview Mirror blog to offer a glimpse of what life is like here in the land that time sped right on by.
